MBK Aviation Management was created by Aidan Cleary an aviation professional with 25 Years aviation experience. A Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer by trade, Aidan started his career in Ryanair in 1998 and entered Aircraft Leasing in 2004 as the Head of Technical for Santos Dumont Limited becoming the Chief Operating Officer and Director in 2010. In 2012 Aidan joined AWAS as Configuration Director responsible for the specification definition and delivery of the new aircraft order book and then becoming Vice President of Surveillance and Asset Management managing the team responsible for all investment and divestment activity from a technical perspective. In 2018 Aidan joined Genesis as the Head of Technical and Operations and set up and ran the technical and asset management (TAM) department. Aidan was a member of the Senior Management Team of Genesis and a Director of many of the companies Aircraft Owning Entities.
